In this article, we will be talking about some characters from different animes who could possibly take down Saitama with their different abilities. So, without dragging it on for too long, let’s jump in.
10. Father
From the fan-favorite anime Fullmetal Alchemist, the very first entry is a horribly powerful villain. Father, also known as Homunculus the Dwarf in The Flash. Father is a powerful entity who has lived for hundreds of years. He is on this list because of several reasons. Being a powerful alchemist, Father can deconstruct Saitama and turn him into molecules of himself with a single touch. Also, since he has so many Philosopher’s stones residing inside him, Father is more or less immortal. This would be a problem for Saitama to counter as a sheer physical force, no matter how strong, will still not be enough to defeat this monster. 9. Kenshiro
This legend had to be here. Kenshiro is the protagonist of the anime and manga entitled Fist of The North Star. He is a legendary character for his overwhelming strength, the line aforementioned, and because he’s a complete badass. Kenshiro is a man if there ever was one. He can turn Saitama’s own attack against him and use Hokuto Shin Ken. This means that if Saitama goes for a serious punch to his head, he will end up doing no damage to Kenshiro. Instead, he would hear the line “Omae was mou shindeiru,” and then feel the wrath of his own punch before dying.
8. Urahara Kisuke
From the famous anime Bleach, the number 8 entry is Urahara Kisuke. Fans might not know much about him and his mysterious powers but Kisuke is insanely strong. With his Bankai Kanonbiraki Benihime Aratame, Kisuke can pull off the same feats as Father from FMA. He can deconstruct and reconstruct anything in his sight at will. Moreover, the guy is too smart for Saitama. Let’s admit it, Saitama is not all that famous for being intelligent. Kisuke could think up a strategy, release his Bankai and defeat Saitama with careful planning. It would be no child’s play but Kisuke definitely has it in him to pull it off.
7. Rimuru Tempest
From the series That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, we have Rimuru Tempest, a god who can nearly do anything. Rimuru can manipulate both time and space. She can manipulate reality and the universe itself. She could wish for a universe without Saitama and there would be no One Punch Man, to begin with. She could literally erase him out if she wants to. Saitama has no chance against a literal god and so, Rimuru wins hands down without even trying.
6. Saiki Kusuo
From the anime The Disastrous Life of Saiki K, we have another god, Saiki himself. Saiki discovers new powers routinely. Moreover, just like Saitama, Saiki is also a parody character who seems to use his powers without much knowledge of them. He can curse people with bad luck, control time and space, control people and their memories, and probably much more. With Saiki having powers beyond the physical realm, Saitama stands no chance. We see him brawl it out against a lot of villains and win with his physical strength. But being pitted against literal gods, poor Saitama would lose in a matter of seconds.
5. Haruhi Suzumiya
From the anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, we have the titular character herself. Haruhi is another god-like being who has absolutely no clue about her powers. She can bend and break and reshape the universe to her will. The only problem is, she doesn’t quite realize it herself. This creates quite a problem with her group which comprises aliens and superhumans. All trying to undo the damage Haruhi does unconsciously. She could also easily erase Saitama with thought and not think about it twice.
4. Ryuk
Everyone must know about Ryuk, the bored Shinigami from the Death Note series. Ryuk is the god of death. He possesses the Death Note, not one, but two. One that he naturally had and another that he stole to drop to Earth so he could have some fun. First off, Saitama would never be able to see Ryuk unless he touches his death note. If the two are pitted against each other, all Ryuk has to do is write Saitama’s name in his book and just like that, Saitama would die without much explanation. He would be stunned, and surprised, and then dead. Also Read: 20 Facts About Death Note You Should Know
3. Goku
Of course, we had to mention Goku, the legend from the Dragon Ball series. Goku can destroy planets and stars. He has worked hard for years to develop Ultra Instinct and God Ki techniques. He can literally come back from the dead to fight back Saitama. The sheer force between the two would give us an epic showdown if the fight were to ever happen. But in the end, withstanding all of Saitama’s blows, Goku would stand victorious.
2. The Sage of Six Paths
At number 2 we have Hagoromo, the Sage of Six Paths himself. From popular anime Naruto, Hagoromo is a literal god. He has near-infinite chakra and has such versatility that Saitama just can’t come close to. Hagoromo can literally create inanimate objects and breathe life into them. He can use Izanagi to recreate situations. He can exist outside of time and space. Saitama stands no chance against a deity who has so much power beyond the physical realm. So Hagoromo wins without question.
1. Zeno
And at number 1 we have Zeno. The childlike god of multiple Dragon Ball universes. He has the mind and personality of a child but doesn’t let that fool you. Zeno can destroy universes without a thought if he’s in a bad mood. Saitama won’t even be able to get close to this guy. He could destroy his entire universe and not give it a second thought. Zeno wins with no effort. And these were the top 10 characters stronger than Saitama. Did we miss someone out? Let us know in the comments.
