Steve Carell, officially known as Steven John Carell is an American actor, comedian, producer, writer, and director. Steve will always be best known for his stint on the NBC sitcom The Office, which ran from 2005–2013. He played boss Michael Scott and he also worked as an occasional producer, writer, and director on the show. You would be surprised to know that from 1999 to 2005 Carell was a correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Some of his best movies include Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, its sequel Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Evan Almighty, Get Smart, Crazy, Stupid, Love, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone and The Way, Way Back. Since Carell has such a strong voice, it is no surprise that he has voiced in Over the Hedge, Horton Hears a Who! and the Despicable Me franchise. The story deals with a San Diego TV station where the lead character, played by Ferrell clashes with his new female colleague. Steve Carell plays a hilarious character named Brick Tamland.

Vice’s story is that of Cheney who wants to become the most powerful Vice President in American history. It is not the first of its kind, Vice is the second film to depict the presidency of George W. The plot centers around a mysterious ship that has used a giant magnet to steal a highly potent mutagen.

The movie stars Liam James as Duncan, an awkward 14-year-old boy who goes on summer vacation to Cape Cod, Massachusetts with his mother. Steve plays his mother’s abusive boyfriend. The Way, Way Back stars Steve Carell, Toni Collette, Allison Janney, AnnaSophia Robb, Sam Rockwell, and Maya Rudolph in the supporting roles. Amanda Peet also stars in the movie as a very negative character.

Crazy, Stupid, Love. is directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa. It is written by Dan Fogelman. Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Julianne Moore, Emma Stone, star in the lead roles. The supporting cast includes Marisa Tomei, and Kevin Bacon. Steve plays a freshly divorced man who is taught how to pick up random women at bars by Ryan Gosling’s character. Emma Stone plays Steve’s daughter and Ryan’s love interest in the movie.

The movie is produced by Illumination Entertainment, it is important to mention that since this one is its debut film. One of the best things about the movie is that it features Happy by Pharrell. Despicable Me is directed by Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud. it also makes for their directorial debuts. The story is provided by Sergio Pablos and it is based on a screenplay by Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio. Despicable Me features around an eponymous with the main character and its theme song, composed by Pharrell Williams. Steve Carell is the voice of Gru in Despicable Me. He is a supervillain who adopts three girls (voiced by Miranda Cosgrove, Dana Gaier, and Elsie Fisher) from an orphanage. Jason Segel (HIMYM fame) is the voice of Vector, arch-rival of Gru that steals the Great Pyramid of Giza. Despicable Me was met with positive reviews and it grossed over $546 million worldwide against a mere budget of $69 million. This movie is Steve Carell’s biggest animation hit so far! Let’s keep hoping for the best.

Little Miss Sunshine is a 2006 American comedy-drama road film. One of the most heartwarming movies is this one! Little Miss Sunshine is the directorial debut of the husband-wife team of Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris. Its screenplay was written by first-time writer Michael Arndt. Little Miss Sunshine stars Greg Kinnear, Steve Carell, Toni Collette, Paul Dano, Abigail Breslin, and Alan Arkin as voice actors. It was produced by Big Beach Films on a mere budget of US $8 million. But it turned out to be the best of 2006, both critically and commercially. Little Miss Sunshine was a mega box office success, gaining $100.5 million, and receiving critical acclaim. The cast and the slapstick humor was too good to be true. Little Miss Sunshine was nominated for four Academy Awards, which also included the Best Picture, and it won two: Best Original Screenplay for Michael Arndt and Best Supporting Actor for Alan Arkin. Steve Carell plays Frank Ginsberg, the head of a deranged family with a daughter who wants to enter a beauty pageant.

The move is based on the 2010 book The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine by Michael Lewis. It is the tale of the financial crisis of 2007–2008 in the United States. That was basically centered around the housing bubble. Steve Carell plays Mark Baum: the leader of FrontPoint Partners. This was a real small independent trading firm. Baum and the American banks are always fighting amongst themselves in the movie. The Big Short stars Christian Bale, Ryan Gosling, and Brad Pitt as leads. The supporting cast is played by Melissa Leo, Hamish Linklater, John Magaro, Rafe Spall, Jeremy Strong, Finn Wittrock, and Marisa Tomei.
