Loki Episode 1 saw the TVA investigating the different variants of Loki in different timelines. Until they capture the 2012 version, which just had attempted to take over the earth recently, only to fail. Initially felt strange and determined, Loki fell down when he saw his future. This now leading him to help Mobius in whatever he wants. Where does this lead for Loki? Who are the other evil and more sinister version of him? All in the second episode. But before that, let’s do a quick recap of the first episode.

Recap For Loki Episode 1

The first episode of Loki was more like an introduction to a world far superior. More than what we have seen in the MCU yet. The history and origins of Time Keepers and Time Variance Authority is something to keep a check on. The episode, as teased, began with the 2012 Loki stealing the Tessaract the time Avengers attempted the Time Heist in Avengers: Endgame. This dropped him lost in Mongolia, where he met the TVA, who successfully captured him with ease. Coming to the HQ of TVA, Loki saw the introduction video in the form of Flintstones footage about the Sacred Timeline. Its history and origins and the reason TVA took him in. TVA tags him as Variant L1130 to differentiate himself from other variants of him. As in the versions of the other timelines. Meanwhile, Mobius, another TVA Officer, is investigating Loki from 1549 until he gets the news of capturing the 2012 Loki. So TVA brings Loki to the court to answer for disrupting the sacred timeline. But he still can’t figure out how stealing Tessaract affected the Sacred Timeline. Mobius took charge of Loki to understand more about him. He shows him his past as well as future deeds and gets to the bottom of his motives. Only until an officer interrupted him. This led Loki to escape. Soon finding out how strong the TVA is that even Infinity Stones don’t matter here. He even gets a glimpse into the future, where he sees his parents dying. Then his brother Thor’s love for him. Lastly, his death at the hands of Thanos. The ending of Loki’s first episode sees him surrendering to Mobius, who then reveals the reason he is brought here. Among the different variants, as in versions of people around the multiverse, one of Loki’s Variants is killing the TVA guards and playing with the Sacred Timeline. Loki stealing the tesseract was one of the excuses to take him down to figure he is the one killing their people. Mobius thinks taking help from Loki himself could help them take this evil Loki out.

Predictions are all around the internet, and we may see a great partnership between Mobius and Loki. Of course, Mobius thinks Loki could be helpful. Yes, mischievous, but at the same time, Mobius is smart enough, as seen in the last episode. He was able to talk him down. Coming to team building, the same cant is said. Especially because Loki didn’t go well with one of the officers in the past episode. So as we are talking about this evil Loki, he or she is yet to be revealed. We also expect more variants of Loki or probably other characters coming to light as we already saw a different version in the previous episode as well. There is a leak of a female Loki appearing as well. Apart from that, we also miss the Matt Damon Loki from Thor: Ragnarok.
